Distribution for sponsoring such a fantastic chess tournament. The 3rd Annual "Blizzard Challenge"
attracted 50 enthusiastic scholastic chess players from as far as Syracuse, New
York. The tournament brought new and exciting challenges to some and upsets to
others, but most importantly it proves that the royal game of chess is definitely
enjoyed in our neck of the woods.
The tournament was formatted
into four sections according to grade and USCF ratings. They played four rounds
at G/45 and the results were as follows.
Individual results:
K-6 U1000 Winner was Mattew Harvey. 2nd Jayla Collins.
