Giving Thanks Tournament 2025

 Giving Thanks Chess Tournament

When: November 15^th, 2025.  Time:1st Round will start at 10:00am

Where: Lackawanna Senior Center, 230 Martin Road, Lackawanna NY 14218

Sections: (Number of rounds depends on number of players per section)

The Open, this section is for experienced USCF members wanting rated games. A current USCF Membership is required for this section. (G/30;d5)

Unrated Section, this section is for new scholastic players who are undecided about acquiring a USCF membership. (G/30;d0)

Awards: Trophies for top 3 individuals in each section. Trophies also for best U1400, U1300, and U1200 in Open Section.

Team Awards: Trophies for top 3 teams in each section. Top 4 scores will be counted for team points. A team can be a school, friends, family, or a club. Just make sure you inform the Tournament Director the Team Name you are playing under.

Entrance Fee: $10.00

Lunch will be provided for registered players.
