Hello Western NY Chess Players. QueensKnight is inviting you to participate in a Tournament on Saturday, September 27th in Bacon Hall on The Buffalo State Campus. Parking is free and we can use Lot I-32 or Lot I-31. Signs for the Chess Entrance will be posted on the Bacon Hall back door closest to Lot I-32.
We will help Professor Blum promote their Chess Club into the Western NY scene. Novices and Rated USCF players are welcome.
Location: Buffalo State SUNY, 1300 Elmwood Ave. Buffalo NY 14222 (in Bacon Hall)
Time: 10:00am to 5pm
Sections:
Unrated for all new and seasoned players wishing to play unrated games. No age, grade or Rank discrimination. Anyone can play.
Open Rated for all current USCF Members who wish to play rated games. G/30;d0
Fees: The Unrated section is Free and the Open Rated section is $5.00. (USCF memberships can be renewed or bought on site. USCF fees are posted below in an earlier post)
Food will be sold on sight if desired.
Awards: Medals for top three in each section.
